Friends matter to Western Galilee Hospital

Friends matter to Western Galilee Hospital

The Western Galilee Hospital- Nahariya was proud to host a dear friend to both the hospital and the State of Israel. Charles Pulman, of the Dallas Jewish community, visited the hospital as part of his tour through the Partnership2Gether communities of Akko and Matte Asher. Sitting with the Medical Task Force of the hospital, Mr. Pulman spoke about his activities in his own community to promote Israel as the democratic state which preserves the Holy Land for all peoples. Having taken part in an emergency delegation of community supporters to visit the region during the 2006 Second Lebanon War, Pulman was relieved to see the advances in providing secure medical treatment to the entire population of the Western Galilee Region. Director of "Why Israel Matters," Pullman publishes useful information in creating an unbiased dialogue about Israel.

Dr. Zvi Sheleg, Assistant to the Director General stated that, “Visits like these are important not only to show the developments to our community supporters, but to show our staff that there are good friends abroad who support our mission here.”
