NEUROSURGERY

The department handles all neurosurgical problems, such as benign and malignant tumors of the head or spinal cord, vascular defects, head injuries, spinal degenerative diseases, etc.

The surgeries are performed using state-of-the-art equipment, including neuronavigation of the brain and the spinal cord, for the first time in Israel; sophisticated equipment used for endoscopic surgeries that enable minimally invasive access (without opening the skull) for various diseases in deep sites in the brain or the base of the skull; intersurgical diagnosis and imaging using a supersonic scanning of the brain
