The infectious diseases unit deals with two main fields:

1.      Consultation for the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases for all of the hospital departments, supervision over the use of long rage and broad spectrum antibiotics.

2.      Prevention of hospital-acquired diseases.

The service provided to the unit staff is based on close cooperation with the microbiological laboratory.
