Environmental delegation from New Jersey visits the Western Galilee Medical Center
Two participants from the environmental delegation from New Jersey visited the Western Galilee Medical Center during March. The two are project managers in the building and ecological building fields and came to learn about environmental management in the medical center.
Arriving to the Medical center, they met with the Director General, Dr. Masad Barhoum and his Deputy, and Dr. Moshe Daniel. Following that, they received a detailed lecture about the environmental projects such as: recycling, waste management, raising employee awareness, enforcing the non smoking law and future goals.
They toured the hospital and saw the sterilizing and shredding machine for medical waste and the new reverse osmosis system creating soft water in an economic and ecological way by reusing the water.
